The Imperial Garden (YuHuaYuan), built in 1417 during the Ming Dynasty, was so-named because it was exclusive to the Imperial Family. As a private garden, it was mainly used for meditation and relaxation. In this photo, the Pavilion of 1,000 Autumns can be seen in the background.
